Becoming a member of TruWest is fast, easy and convenient
Welcome to Online Account Opening. You will be guided through the simple process
for opening your new TruWest account. You will need to refer to several items during this process.
Please be prepared with the following information:
- U.S. Social Security number
- A valid form of identification including: Driver's license, State ID, Military ID or Passport
- Previous home address (if you have lived at your current home address less than two years)
- Credit or debit card or U.S. checking or savings account to fund your new account(s)
For your protection, your application session will automatically time out if there is no activity
for 30 minutes. All information will be lost if this occurs.
- New TruWest Member: Online account opening is available for new Individual or Joint
TruWest membership (Share Savings), and select money market, checking and certificate accounts.
If you are interested in other products or services, please complete the online account opening
first, then either call a Member Services Representative toll-free 1.855.TRUWEST (878.9378) or send an email
to contactcenter@truwest.org.

If you are an existing TruWest member and would like to open select money market, checking and
certificate accounts online, please login into Online Banking.
You must have an active TruWest membership (Share Savings) to open additional accounts.

Important information about procedures for opening a new account:
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities,
Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information
that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you: When you open
an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and driver’s license and other
information that will allow us to identify you. Online Account Opening is subject to membership
qualification.
