Rick O’Connor

Executive Committee Vice Chairman

Most recently, Rick served for over 16 years as the Director of Finance and Compliance for Avnet’s Technology Solutions Division based in Tempe, Arizona. Prior to this position, Rick was employed at Motorola Semiconductor for 13 years in various finance positions in Audit, Customer Credit and Accounts Receivable. Rick holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree from Arizona State University.

Rick has been a TruWest Credit Union member for over 30 years and has served multiple terms as a volunteer on the board of directors, most recently as Chair of the Supervisory Committee.

Susanna Defranco

Supervisory Committee Chair

Susanna has been with General Dynamics Missions Systems (GD) for eight years, currently serving as a finance business partner. Prior to joining GD, she spent three years in public accounting as an external auditor. Susanna holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and a Certificate in Corporate Finance from Northern Arizona University.

Susanna has been a TruWest Credit Union member for eight years. She began volunteering at TruWest as an Advisory Committee Member in 2012 and has most recently served as the Supervisory Committee Chairperson.

I proudly support the mission and vision of TruWest and am committed to lead the Credit Union forward in the best interests of the member and your needs, while ensuring financial strength.”

Jeff Homer

Jeff currently serves as Corporate Director of Environmental, Health and Safety for SUMCO USA. Prior to this, he was Senior Manager of Environmental, Health and Safety at General Dynamics, as well as served in similar positions for many years with Motorola. Jeff is a member of the Arizona Manufacturers Council, a former board member of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry and is also a former member of the Arizona OSHA Review Board and the Arizona Emergency Response Commission’s Advisory Committee.

Jeff has been a member of TruWest Credit Union for more than 30 years, serving as a volunteer on its Board of Directors since 2002 in various capacities including Supervisory Committee Chairman, Treasurer and Vice Chairman.

Your electronic ballot is completely confidential. Electronic ballots are available 24 hours a day, from midnight (MST) Jan. 1, 2019 through midnight Feb. 28, 2019.

1If during the election an incumbent is not ratified by the membership, the Board must appoint someone who was not on the ballot for ratification. The appointee will serve one year and may run for election at the beginning of the next election season.
2All members in good standing as of Dec. 8, 2018, are eligible to vote. One vote per membership. Only valid Social Security numbers and tax ID will be accepted. All others will be invalid.
