2020 Board Election
Unlike banks, credit unions turn to their members to elect a board of directors who will best represent their interests. This is why it’s important for you to participate in this process and vote in our 2020 election. Voting begins January 2, 2020, and ends on February 29, 2020. Results of the election will be announced at TruWest’s Annual Meeting in April 2020. This year you’ll be voting to retain three Board member candidates1.
How Can I Vote?
- Click the “Vote Today” button below to access the ballot page. Follow the directions to enter your last name, date of birth (month and year) and last four digits of your Social Security number.2
- Cast a “yes”, “no” or “abstain” vote to ratify each candidate. You’ll have the opportunity to review your entries prior to submitting your vote. If you vote more than one time, only the last vote will be accepted.
Your electronic ballot is confidential and secure. Electronic ballots are available 24 hours a day, from 12:01 AM (MST), Jan. 2, 2020, through 11:59 PM (MST), Feb. 29, 2020.
1If during the election an incumbent is not ratified by the membership, the Board must appoint someone who was not on the ballot for ratification. The appointee will serve one year and may run for election at the beginning of the next election season.
2All members in good standing as of December 14, 2019, are eligible to vote. One vote per membership. Only valid Social Security numbers and tax ID will be accepted for authentication. All others will be invalid.
