TruWest Board & Committees

TruWest Board of Directors

Board Members work to further the goals of TruWest Credit Union by focusing on member and community needs. They listen to members and discuss ways to improve their financial lives at each monthly Board meeting.

The Supervisory Committee

The Supervisory Committee plays an important role in TruWest Credit Union’s governance. They ensure we operate in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) and state Department of Financial Institutions (DFI). They also make sure that the plans, policies, and procedures set forth by the Board of Directors are properly administered.

The Advisory Committee

TruWest’s Advisory Committee is typically made up of two members representing the greater Phoenix and Austin areas. These members provide advisory suggestions and make recommendations on potential product and service enhancements that might be beneficial to those in the communities we serve.

Board Stipend

Our Board Members complete many crucial tasks in the direction and oversight of TruWest Credit Union. The amount of time they spend assuring that members’ best interests are acted on is significant, each and every month. Board Members are not paid a salary, but they do receive a modest stipend to reimburse them for their time, travel, materials and other expenses relating to their TruWest Board duties.
