How to make deposits, payments and transfers from wherever you are
Take care of some of your most common day-to-day transactions from the comfort and convenience of home, or wherever you may be. TruWest® Credit Union’s online and mobile banking channels make it easy to deposit and move your funds.
Mobile check deposit1
Before using mobile check deposit, make sure that you have endorsed the back of the check and marked it “for mobile deposit at TruWest Credit Union only”.
- Log in to the TruWest mobile app on your mobile device.
- Select Check Deposit from the bottom menu.
- Enter the amount written on the check.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to take a photo of the front and back of the check.
- Select Deposit to confirm your check image(s) and complete your deposit.
Online and mobile Bill Pay1
To set up online or mobile Bill Pay, you will need the following:
- The name of the payee organization
- The account number as it appears on your bill
- The billing address of the payee
- Set up a new payee on mobile
- Log in to the TruWest mobile app on your mobile device.
- Select Bill Pay from the bottom menu.
- Under the Payees tab, enter the name of the payee organization and tap Add.
- Enter the account number as it appears on your bill and the payee’s billing address.
- Tap Add Payee.
- Set up a new payee online
- Log in to your online banking account.
- Locate the Bill Pay feature on your home screen and click Go to Bill Pay, or select Bill Pay from the top menu.
- Enter the name of the payee next to “Need to pay someone new?” and click Add.
- Enter the account number as it appears on your bill and the payee’s billing address.
- Click Add Payee.
- Pay a bill on mobile
- Log in to the TruWest mobile app on your mobile device.
- Select Bill Pay from the bottom menu.
- Select a payee from the dropdown menu.
- Choose the account from which the funds will be withdrawn.
- Enter the amount you wish to pay, and choose a send date.
- Tap Pay to complete your Bill Pay request.
- Pay a bill online
- Log in to your online banking account.
- Locate the Bill Pay feature on your home screen.
- Select a payee from the dropdown menu.
- Choose the account from which the funds will be withdrawn.
- Choose a send date, and enter the amount you wish to pay.
- Click Schedule Payment to complete your Bill Pay request.
Online and mobile transfers1
- Make a mobile transfer
- Log in to the TruWest mobile app on your mobile device.
- Select Transfers from the bottom menu.
- Choose the account from which the funds will be withdrawn.
- Choose an account to receive the funds.
- Enter the amount you wish to transfer.
- Select Transfer to complete your transaction.
- To create a recurring transaction, tap the + symbol under the Schedule tab. Enter the transfer information, including the frequency, and tap Schedule.
- Make an online transfer
- Log in to your online banking account.
- Select Make a Transfer from the Move Money menu.
- Choose the account from which the funds will be withdrawn.
- Choose an account to receive the funds.
- Select a transfer date. You may check the box to Repeat transfer if you wish to make this a recurring transaction.
- Enter the amount you wish to transfer.
- Select Make transfer to complete your transaction.
- Transfer to an outside account2
In order to make an external transfer, you will need the following information for the account you are transferring to:
- The type of account (checking, savings, etc.)
- The routing number
- The account number
- Log in to your online banking account.
- Select External Transfers from the Additional Services menu.
- Select Transfer Between My Accounts.
- Choose the account from which the funds will be withdrawn.
- Click Add a New Account to enter in the external account’s routing and account numbers.
- Choose a send date and click Continue.
- Review to ensure the transfer details are correct, and click Confirm to complete your transaction.
