After you log on to your TruWest online banking account
Select “Skip Pay (if eligible)” under additional services
Select the loan(s) you wish to skip from the drop-down list
Select the payment month you want to skip
Select an account you would like to use to pay the processing fee
Note: If you have automatic monthly payments set for the loan(s), remember to cancel the transfer for the month you are skipping.
1There is a $5 processing fee for TruWest Visa credit cards and a $35 processing fee for other eligible loans. All fees must be deposited in a TruWest account before the Skip Pay can be processed. Interest continues to accrue on the unpaid balance and, if applicable, the term of the loan will be extended each time a Skip Pay is processed. Only available on eligible loans, and limited to no more than one skip a payment (including COVID-19 related relief) in a rolling calendar year (12 months). We’ve received reports of scam phone calls where fraudsters pretend to be from the credit union. These calls appear to come from our official number and often involve urgent language to trick you into giving up personal or financial information.

We will NEVER call you to ask for your account number, PIN, online banking password, or one-time passcodes.
If you receive a suspicious call, hang up immediately. Do not provide any information, even if the caller ID looks legitimate. Instead, contact us directly using the number listed on our official website or your account statement.
