Why am I receiving a new TruWest Visa® credit card?
Answer:
In order to better serve TruWest Visa cardholders, we’ve made some enhancements, including improved account management, updated security features and more. As a result of the upgrades, new credit cards will need to be re-issued.

When do I need to activate my new TruWest Visa credit card?
Answer:
Activate your new credit card on September 18 to enjoy uninterrupted service when making your purchases. Your old credit card will no longer work after 8pm AZ time September 17. If you activate your new card before September 18, it will not work.

Can I activate my new TruWest Visa before September 18?
Answer:
No. You will not be able to activate your new card until the morning of September 18th.

Am I getting a new debit card?
Answer:
No.

Will I need to re-enroll in digital wallet such as Apple Pay™, Samsung Pay™, etc.?
Answer:
Yes. Your new TruWest Visa will be a brand new credit card and have a new CCV number, therefore you will need to add the new card to your digital wallet.

Will I get a new credit card number?
Answer:
Only joint cardholders will receive a new credit card with their own unique number. Primary members may receive credit cards with new CCV numbers (3-digit security code).

Do I need to set up my PIN?
Answer:
Yes. You can call 1(855) 878-9378 and select option 3 to set up and manage your PIN.

Can I still make payments to my TruWest Visa credit card from a different financial institution?
Answer:
Yes. You will still be able to make payments to your TruWest Visa (or any other TruWest loan) by logging into your online banking account and selecting the Loan Payment link under the Helpful Links section.

Is my payment date still the same?
Answer:
Yes. TruWest credit card payments are still due on the 27th of each month.

Is my interest rate changing?
Answer:
No.

Are there any fees associated with this update?
Answer:
No. We are still offering the same great rates and no annual fees that you have on your current TruWest Visa credit card.

Is my statement billing cycle going to change?
Answer:
No. The billing cycle will continue to be the 2nd of every month.

Can I still access my credit card statement online?
Answer:
Yes. You can access your credit card statement via Additional Services>eStatements>Credit Cards.

Do I need to update the billing address on my auto pay payments?
Answer:
Yes. If you have bill pay currently set up to make payments to your TruWest Visa, you will need to update the billing address to the following:

Will my TruWest rewards program change?
Answer:
No. Purchase Rewards and TruRewards will remain unchanged.

How do I notify TruWest I will be traveling?
Answer:
Submitting a travel notification can help minimize the chances of your debit or credit card being blocked or flagged for unusual activity. To submit a travel notification, first log in to your online account. Under the Online Request Forms menu, select Travel Notification. Add all relevant card information, travel dates, location you’ll be traveling to and contact information. Then, click Submit.
