Take a break from your monthly loan payments. TruWest® Credit Union can help give your budget some breathing room with Skip Pay1.

Skip Pay is a convenient and easy way to get extra cash to use toward a vacation, unexpected expenses or simply for peace of mind.

Skip Pay features include:

  • Skip one monthly payment per rolling calendar year (12 months) on qualifying and eligible loans
  • Available on the following TruWest loans2:
    • Visa1
    • Auto/RV
    • Motorcycle
    • Marine/personal watercraft
    • Signature loan

How do I use Skip Pay?

  • Log on to your TruWest online banking account
  • Select “Skip Pay (if eligible)” under additional services
  • Select the loan(s) you wish to skip from the drop down list
  • Select the payment month you wish to skip
  • Select an account you would like to use to pay the processing fee
  • Review the Terms and Conditions and check the box to accept
  • Select “Continue”

Note: If you have automatic monthly payments set up for the loan(s), don’t forget to cancel the transfer for the month you are skipping.

1 There is a $5 processing fee for TruWest Visa credit cards and a $35 processing fee for other eligible loans. All fees must be deposited in a TruWest account before the Skip Pay can be processed. Interest continues to accrue on the unpaid balance and, if applicable, the term of the loan will be extended each time a Skip Pay is processed. Only available on eligible loans, and limited to no more than one skip a payment (including COVID-19 related relief) in a rolling calendar year (12 months).
